Bio

An Ohio-born, Detroit-based DJ, writer, and self described technomusicologist, DJ Etta occupies most of her time scheming with her crew Blueprint, curating mixes for Moods, working as a tour guide at Exhibit 3000, or documenting the impact of black women in dance music. Her sets take a free form approach, basking in unabashed joyfulness untethered to genre. Her selections range from naughty boogie disco to enveloping house to classic, golden era hip-hop, mixed with a cohesive grace and effortless musicality.
