What Does Liberation Mean To You?

Liberation, to me, is the freedom to show up unapologetically as my authentic self. It's the courage to stand firm in my beliefs and values, in every facet of my life, and the determination to persistently seek growth and development as a woman. Liberation is the understanding and conviction that my voice matters, that my experiences and perspectives have intrinsic value and deserve to be heard and respected.

Moreover, liberation is a vision of a world where everyone, irrespective of their background or circumstances, has an equal opportunity to live the life they choose. It's a commitment to challenging and dismantling the societal burdens that impede individuals from realizing their full potential, such as the constraints of growing up in a low-income environment with limited access to opportunities for growth.

Liberation is not just about breaking free from physical or tangible chains, but also about releasing the invisible binds that society places on us. It's about claiming our space, asserting our worth, and nurturing our dreams in spite of the constraints imposed upon us.
