For the month of October, Black Techno Matters will be in residence once again to shine the spotlight on 8 brilliant DJs and producers from around the country that represent the sound and mission of the movement: to reclaim techno as a manifestation of Black expression in a society that has oppressed it by creating spaces, both virtual and IRL, that celebrate the black roots of techno. An assertion and a reminder that Techno IS Black.
