June’s session was a TIME and now SONIC SESSIONS is back for August! Time to send your demos for a chance to be selected to our next music listening and feedback session on Wednesday, August 12. If your track is picked, you’ll join host MerlinBerlin and the Black Techno Matters music label team as we listen to your music and follow up with thoughtful discussion. In-person and virtual slots are open!

To send us a track, fill in the form and follow the instructions by Sunday, August 2. As always, we’ll keep sessions small to give artists the full time to hear their tracks and chat with us. So, whether you’d like to submit a demo for the BTM music label, test your mixdown or mastering techniques, or share your art with community and talk about it, we’re hype to hear from you

We’ll email selected artists the Friday before Sonic Sessions. Check out Sonic Sessions on the BTM website for more details on how to submit. 

Black Techno Matters is also currently accepting demos for release on the label. Our July 4th release, “American Friend,” from D.C. powerhouse, SIR E.U, was a track sent to our April Sonic Sessions. Listen on Bandcamp and get inspired–we can’t wait to hear that heat!
