Sekucci - IG Take Over
Sekucci is an architectural designer and DJ hailing from Kansas City, Missouri. They were first introduced to techno music while interning in Paris, spending their weekends making curious excursions around its underground scene. This subsequently led them to discoveries in Berlin and London as well.
Sekucci was introduced to DJ’ing in 2019 when they had moved to New York, instantly finding community in Brooklyn’s music scene, they were inspired and encouraged to venture into the craft & in summer of 2021, they released their first mix “3am @ bossa” on SoundCloud. Their talent was quickly recognized by fellow DJ’s & quickly captured the attention of the booker of Bossa Nova, where they debuted their first live set in December of 2021.
Since then, Sekucci has gone on to craft a unique identity for themselves, playing at prominent New York functions and venues such as Papi Juice, Dick Appointment, ClubCakkes, Dweller Festival, Elsewhere, Nowadays, and H0L0. They have become a rising star in the NYC DJ scene with their unique blend of techno, house, r&b, hip-hop and other experimental sounds.
