Bio

Jinjur was born out of Angelie’s desire for sole creative expression.

Angelie began exploring local music through reviews and interviews on their blog Capitol Sound DC. This opened up doors to book up-and-coming musicians, manage artists, and eventually a music venue. With nearly a decade of working behind the scenes, Angelie decided to get behind the boards after creating with friends. Blending the vast sounds of dance music, expect to hear the Black artists that pioneer Techno/House/Electronic during their set.
