LO-LOW
LO-LOW (@lo_low_ldn) blends eclectic selections of deep house, techno, electronic, ballroom through to breakbeat and pop. Her mixes out with @originssound, @fold.ldn's DETECT series and sexy techno party @techcouture_ldn, capture her playful essence. A self-confessed club kid and music enthusiast, she found her way into the world of music through journalism, writing for @clashmagazine. In February 2022, she opened at Colour Factory, representing the @thornlondon collective at HOWL: Queer City, Vol.4 and played at @riposte.london's Pride Party in July.
Gaining her first show out of London in August 2022, she played the pre-party for Scotland’s number one queer alternative night SHOOT YOUR SHOT (@sysglasgow), ahead of founder @bonzaibonner and headliner @cormacmusic.
Co-founder and co-host of @melatrois on @reformradio, which airs monthly and has been running for 6 years serves a balanced mix of heartfelt chats and tunes. Extending her radio sensibilities LO-LOW has made a few radio guest appearances on @voices_radio on Coral’s (fka K.I.I.A) and @lilolimusic's resident shows. Plus on Ordep’s Locked Groove @strippedfm show. She also co-produces and has presented Fold Talks, a new series ran by the London club, which is aimed at giving under-represented communities a voice in the electronic music realm.
Spirited by nature, the aim of LO-LOW’s sets is to give back to audiences, what the club has done for her. Finding freedom in expression on the dancefloor, euphoria, community and making you break a sweat. Currently, she has the reigns at @e1ldn as a resident.
